About BVD

What is Binocular Vision Dysfunction?

Binocular Vision Dysfunction is a very small amount of eye misalignment that a person could have been born with or could have been caused by a head injury. The body is usually able to correct the misalignment, but the eye muscles become strained and cause the symptoms of Binocular Vision Dysfunction.

  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Motion Sickness / Car Sickness
  • Nausea
  • Feeling Anxious in Crowds or Large Stores
  • Head Tilt
  • Drifting while walking
  • Neck Ache
  • Skipping Lines or Losing your Place while Reading

The amount and severity of symptoms are different for each person.  Some people are completely disabled, while others aren’t bothered much.

Fortunately, a NeuroVisual exam could alleviate up to 80% of a person’s symptoms with eyeglasses that put the eyes back into alignment.

If you have noticed any of these symptoms please take the test to see if you could benefit from a NeuroVisual exam.  One of our technicians will contact you with the results and answer any questions you may have.
